Camp Med Summer Program for high school students is a great way to learn about the world of possibilities in health careers.
There is an increasing need for talented healthcare professionals in the workforce. Students will be exposed to the stimulating world of working in healthcare, gain an understanding of the challenges and social determinants of health, and reflect on the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities present in local healthcare.
Camp Med is offered in partnership through Wake Forest University School of Medicine' s Northwest Area Health Education Center (NWAHEC).

Registration is FREE and open to students in grades 8-12.
Students will gain 20+ hours of designed programming that provides a fun and rewarding experience, as well as enable them to acquire the knowlege and skills that will help make informed decisions about a future career in health.
